Rad studied a Bcom degree from the University of Pretoria. He ran a successful cellular franchise as CEO of the MCD Group until 2015 when he acquired Otel. He is a very team-oriented leader and was named an Industry Expert Quoted By Media On VoIP & Cloud PBX Solutions.
Anthony Engelbrecht
Chief Technical Officer
An entrepreneur since 2001, Anthony has been a driving force behind many start-ups in the IT and ICT sector and still serves on the board and shareholder of most of these companies. Currently, Anthony for-fills the role of CTO at OTEL. Anthony’s second passion is sailing, and he is a qualified ocean skipper, safety boat and sailing instructor. He enjoys this activity with his wife and three children and plans to sail the world once low orbit low latency high-speed global wireless Internet access becomes a reality.
Johann De Lange
Chief Financial Officer
Johann currently heads up the Otel Finance department as the Chief Financial Officer. He is a well-known business coach and has found J De Lange Consulting Coaching who specialises in explosive profit growth strategies, Turnaround strategies/implementation and change management.
Cherise Coetzee-Stein
Executive Head: Sales and Marketing
Cherise qualified with a BA Communications from Wichita State University in Kansas, USA, where she was awarded a full tennis scholarship. In 2004 She returned to South Africa and has spent the last 14 focused years working for, and consulting to South Africa companies in the ITC and financial sectors. During this time Cherise was the Sales & Ops Boss Lady at Tariffic and also co-founded Sweet Spot, a financial services business that was focused on accessing innovation grant funding from Government for large scale corporate companies in South Africa. She comes with a wealth of business strategy knowledge and is extremely excited about joining the Otel family!
Lucia Vermaak
Human Resources Manager
Lucia has been working for Otel Communications since February 2016 as Human Resource manager. She has been in an HR role for the last 6 years. People are her passion and she enjoys the day to day challenges that come with the HR role. The HR vision is to lead people to make their dreams come true, in their careers and personal life to promote success for both the company and individual.
Natashia Adamczuk
Dealer Manager
Natashia has over 8 years’ experience within the Telecommunications, ISP industry and serve onboard new growth opportunities and runs the Dealer channel. I have developed strong problem-solving skills, honed my ability to manage conflict and deal with demanding individuals.
In addition to my experience and personal qualities. I have a solid educational foundation and passion and ability to inspire growth. I am extremely enthusiastic about Otel’s focus and visions.
Natashia’s second passion in life is boating and water sports since a young age and enjoys the time and joy it brings to spend quality moments with her family and friends.
